Mandatory Guidelines for the Use of Smile ID

In order to improve Smile ID system performance and achieve the target of 98–99% real operational uptime, the following guidelines are mandatory for all locations:
🔹 Mandatory Rules for Clock In / Clock Out
- Registration must be completed without hats, glasses, headsets, or face masks.
- The face must be fully visible.
- Look directly at the camera.
- Ensure proper front lighting.
- Do not move the tablet during registration.
🔹 In Case of Failure
- Wait 2–3 seconds before trying again.
- If recognition fails after 3 attempts:
- Check the WiFi connection.
- Restart the application.
- If the issue persists, restart the tablet.
- Report the incident, including:
- Location
- Employee name
- Approximate time
These guidelines are not optional. They are necessary conditions for proper facial recognition functionality.
