2. Prerequisites

2.1 Tablets and operating system

• Tablet with a functional front/rear camera.
• Operating system supported by a modern browser (Android / iPadOS, depending on the device fleet).

Operational recommendation: avoid using devices with very outdated OS versions, as camera access or browser stability may fail.

2.2 Supported browsers

• Recommended: Google Chrome (Android) / Safari (iPad) or Chrome if available.
• Keep the browser updated.

2.3 Internet connection

• Stable connection (ideal: corporate Wi-Fi).
• Avoid areas with weak signal or saturated networks.
• If there is intermittency: see the Error Handling and Retries module.

2.4 Browser permissions (camera)

The Web App requires camera permission to capture the face/selfie.

Checklist:

• The camera works (test using the device camera app).
• The browser is allowed to access the camera.
• No other app is using the camera at the same time.

2.5 Capture point recommendations

• Front-facing lighting (avoid backlighting).
• Stable device (ideally: fixed stand/mount).
• Clean lens.
• Avoid strong reflections behind the user.
